Our Story
At Mrs. Darnall’s Little Learners, our story begins with a passion for children and a dream of creating a place where every child is known, loved, and valued. Guided by our mission to nurture faith, kindness, creativity, confidence, and growth, we believe children learn best through meaningful relationships, hands-on play, and joyful discovery. Together our story, mission, and philosophy create a warm, faith-filled environment where little learners are encouraged to Bloom into the unique individuals God created them to be.
Meet the Teacher!
Hi there! My name is Michelle Darnall, and I am the owner and lead teacher at Mrs. Darnall’s Little Learners.
I grew up in the Lake Orion area, graduating from Lake Orion back in 2007. After high school I attended collage at Oakland University earning my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education.
For the past 8 years I taught children in lower elementary classrooms with the mission of creating a welcoming environment where children feel they can be themselves and ultimately feel like they are apart of classroom community. For me, my classroom has always felt like a home away from home, and I desperately wanted that for my students as well! In my classrooms we celebrated each other's wins, and encouraged one another to always try their best. Being a teacher and mentor has always been a passion of mine, and creating life long learners is the mission.
In addition to being an educator, I am also a wife, and momma of two little boys! My oldest will be in first grade this year, and my youngest little dude will be attending the preschool with me! :D
